More and more wild foals being born on Assateague Island this year! My count is up to about twenty. Really liking the solid foals from Surfer Dude’s herd for some reason. Got some nice, stocky foals on the ground.
This link to to a special rescue, called The Chincoteague Pony Rescue. It’s a rescue led by a dear friend of mine, Debbie Ober. She is currently trying to get 11 ponies to her farm in Maryland. They are located in Tennesee and two of the mares have had foals. One mare & foal is already at the farm but due to circumstances, they were forced to leave the rest behind. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, donate what you can or go to their facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/debbie.ober#!/pages/Chincoteague-Pony-Rescue/231970770184008) and give your support to Shadow & Bristol (the ponies they managed to rescue.) This organization is something that I love and I have a passion for this breed. Please reblog & share, these ponies NEED us! We are their voice!
AMEN! Reblog and spread the word, people!!
